“President Von Der Leyen, Ladies and gentlemen
Europe deserves better than silence, better than opacity, better than bureaucratic authoritarianism.
For 6 years now, you’ve been running this commission with Arian verticality, cut off from reality, cut off from the people, cut off all too often from the values on which our continent was founded. Rejection is not an administrative error. It’s an abuse of power. 35 billion euros of public money negotiated by SMS without calls for tender, without mandate, without transparency.
The European Court of Justice has confirmed this. You acted alone, outside any democratic framework.
It’s not just your fault. This fault is not yours alone.
It symbolizes an even more serious drift, that of a Europe governed in the shadow of its peoples.
Under your authority, the commission has become the armed wing of private interests, militant nos and anti-war ideologies, some of which are even alien to the foundations of our civilization.
What you call transition, thousands of Europeans experience this as a punishment.
What you call a green deal, our farmers, craftsmen, and manufacturers are being strangled.
And what you call European values, all too often resemble the censorship of people who dare to think differently.
So is this the Europe you defend, madame?
A Europe where decisions are taken without debate.
A Europe that signs trade agreements like Mercosur behind the backs of its citizens, exposing our industries to even more unfair competition.
A Europe that weakens nations while dreaming of empire.
So no, Miss Von Der Leyen, this Europe is not ours. Ours is about freedoms, respect for identities, sovereignty, and democratic choices. One that protects, builds, and listens.
Not one that imposes.
Today, in good conscience, we will vote on this motion of censure. This vote is not simply a gesture of opposition. It’s an act of responsibility, because it’s no longer just about downing you.
It’s about saying that another path is possible. A path, where Europe once again becomes a project and a promise, not a system, or a superimposition of standards and threats.
The people of Europe don’t need an all-powerful commission. They need a Europe that reflects them. And if this mandate is to end with a strong signal, then let it be the return of politics, the return of the people, the return of reality.
