Israeli coach punches Polish referee at judo tournament.
The Israeli Embassy accuses Poles of anti-Semitism (sic!) because their team was excluded from the International Judo Tournament in Bielsko-Biała. The reason? A physical attack on a referee after a verdict unfavorable to the Jews. The whole thing was captured by surveillance cameras.
The associations? Extremely clear. On a micro scale, the violent individuals expelled from the tournament speak of anti-Semitism; on a macro scale, the criticized perpetrators of genocide invoke the same anti-Semitism.
Following a judo competition for children and youth in Bielsko-Biała, the Israeli Embassy accused Polish organizers of violence and anti-Semitism against the Israeli team.
The Israeli team was disqualified from the competition after physically attacking the referee, who issued an unfavorable ruling for Jews.
According to Israeli reports, the athletes were allegedly verbally and physically attacked.
At the same time, they appealed to Polish authorities to take immediate action and ensure the safety of Israeli athletes in Poland. This narrative was presented without evidence, before any investigation had been completed.
This is a classic mechanism of political pressure through accusations of anti-Semitism, used as a final argument and paralyzing the debate. The tournament organizers present a completely different version of events. According to their account, the Israeli coach allegedly attacked the referee after the unfavorable ruling, striking him. As a result, the Israeli club was excluded from the competition for conduct contrary to fair play principles.
Club president Janosik unequivocally emphasized that judo is a discipline based on respect and self-control, and that adults have a duty to set an example for children, not to escalate conflict.
The police were called to the scene, and officers confirmed the organizers’ version of events.
The Polish athletes’ version was also captured on camera. This completely shatters the narrative of a supposed sports pogrom, (sic. another fake “pogrom”) and calls into question the validity of the accusations made by the embassy.
Nevertheless, the public accusation went viral, damaging the good name of the Polish organizers and hosts of the event. It is unacceptable that any response to aggressive behavior by representatives of a foreign country is automatically labeled as anti-Semitism.
It is truly questionable why a team from a country currently engaged in ethnic cleansing in Palestine participated in the tournament at all.
